Once you have you have a complete song book data file, you are ready for Pilot Song Book Creator to "render" or create your song book. You can then specify a song book title, sub title, and fonts and select from several predefined styles, and choose the song book grouping (title, artist, genre, etc). To generate and view your song book, follow these steps:
Generating and viewing your song book
| 1. | Click the View button in the Song Book group on the Home tab of the ribbon |

| 2. | The Song Book Viewer window will load and automatically begin rendering the song book based on the current settings. |

Search your rendered song book for specific text. This can be very useful to quickly find a specific song, artist, etc. in your collection. (Only possible in normal layout view) |
Notes
| • | The Multi-Column song book style will render as only a single column in Normal View. Switch to Print Layout View to see this song book with both columns rendered properly. |
| • | The song book page count shown on the song book view only shows the number of printed pages when in Print Layout View. To get to Print Layout View from the Normal View click the |
| • | You can jump to a specific page in the song book by editing the page number text box (in between the page navigation buttons). |
