The Find and Replace feature is enhanced with search options that make it may make it easier to find only what you're looking for.

 

Instructions

1.On the Find and Replace window, click the button to access the find and replace options section.
2.The Find and Replace window will expand similar to the following:

3.Modify the options as outlined below:
3.1.Search - Specifies the search direction.
3.1.1.All - (available only in Disc View) will search up to the last record and then automatically start over at the first record and continue searching until all records have been searched.
3.1.2.Up - Searches up (from lower records to higher records) until the last record is reached. This will NOT start over from the first record when the last record is reached.
3.1.3.Down - Searches down (from higher records to lower records) until the first record is reached.
3.2.Match Case - Specifies a "CaSE SEnsiTIve" search where the text specified in the Find what box must match exactly.
3.3.Find whole words only - will only find text that matches the Find what text and is its own word or phrase. (E.g. if Find what is "Brown Fox" and this option is checked, this text would be found in "The Brown Fox is not a Brown Cow" but not in "TheBrown FoxIs not a Brown Cow")
3.4.Click to hide the Search Options section. (The selected options will be preserved.)
