You can configure the default file type that Pilot Song Book Creator uses for file imports and for synchronization. Its this configuration that tells the program what types of files to look for during an import or when synchronizing the songs in your database with their counterparts on your hard drive. The software comes pre-loaded with most common karaoke, music, and video file types, but you can configure the file types associated with each of these categories and which categories you wish the program to use however you wish. To configure which file types are associated with each category, or to add or remove file types, click the Configure button. This will bring up a new window which you can use for this. See this topic for more information. Otherwise, you can simply place a check in the box next to each category you wish the program to use for imports, synchronization, or statistics functions. |
Some formats of karaoke songs have more than one file associated with them (such as the MP3+CDG format). The drag and drop feature of this software can drag all of the files associated with a song in your song book, or just the primary file (the CDG file in this case). If you are dragging files to another karaoke program, then uncheck the Drag ALL files associated with Song? check box for best results. If you are dragging songs to non karaoke programs like Windows Media Player or Windows Explorer then check this box. If the above check box is unchecked (default), then Pilot Song Book Creator will only drag the first file associated with each song you are attempting to drag with the following order applied. In other words, the the above check box is unchecked and there is a CDG file associated with a dragged song, then this is the file you will be dragging. If there is no CDG file, but there is a ZIP file, then this is the one you will be dragging. See the drag and drop help topic for more information. |
