Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

You can apply a custom filter to your song data to limit the list based on specific criteria of your choosing.  To apply a custom filter:

1.Click the "down arrow" button to the right of the column you wish to filter.
2.Select (Custom) from the drop down list.
3.You will now see a window similar to the following:

4.The operator and operand work together to specify how each condition will filter the data.  In the above example, the filter condition specifies to show only songs where the song title is equal to "Baby One More Time".
5.To add a new condition click Add a Condition or to delete a condition, click Delete Condition.
6.Click OK to apply the filter

Notes

You can specify any number of conditions based on "and" or "or".  If the conditions you specify are "and" conditions then in order for a song to be shown, it must match all the conditions you specify.  Conversely, If you specify an "or" condition, then all songs will show that match any one of the conditions you specify.
With some experimentation, you will discover a very wide range of filtering capabilities.  A thorough discussion of all the possible filters is beyond the scope of this users guide.
Custom filters are primarily used when you wish to filter the data in a single column by more than one criteria.  For example, a song title that starts with "ed" and ends with "de".
