You can edit the genres that are available in your current song book data file by clicking Edit Genres from the disc view. You will then see the window below. You can add, edit, or delete from this list and have as many or as few genres available to your song book as you wish.
Navigating Genre Records
The above toolbar is similar to the disc navigation toolbar with the exception of two additional buttons.
Click 
to add a new genre or 
to delete the currently selected genre.
When finished, simply click OK.
