Disc View makes it easy to edit the disc number, album name, date added, and remarks for any disc in your collection as well as change the genre for all the songs on a given disc.
Adding and deleting discs and songs

The buttons in the Song Book Data group on the Home tab of the ribbon can be used to easily add discs or songs to your collection (manually). (Note: Many of these features are also available via the context (right-click) menu.)
Clicking will add a new blank disc to your collection. This is useful when there is no automated means to automatically add this disc (such as importing from a CD in your CD/DVD drive) |
Clicking will delete the disc you are currently viewing from your collection. |
Clicking will add a new blank song to your collection. As with the Add New Disc function, this is intended only when there is no automated means to automatically add the song to your collection (such as importing from a song file) |
Clicking will delete the currently selected song from your collection. |
Clicking will commit all pending changes. This does NOT save your song book to disc. (To do this, click Save on the Application Menu). The Commit Changes button is useful to essentially create a starting point for changes you wish to make that you might want to undo later with the Cancel Changes button. This button will only be available if there are pending changes to commit. |
Clicking will undo all pending changes since the last time you clicked the Commit Changes button or the last time you saved your song book. BE CAREFUL! There is no way to undo this action! If you do not regularly commit changes or save your song book, clicking this button can cause you to LOSE LOTS OF DATA! |
To edit disc data

Simply type the desired information in the disc number, album, remarks, or date added fields shown above. (Date Added is populated automatically, but can be overridden with your input).
