With Pilot Song Book Creator you can easily hide songs from your song book without deleting them from your database. This is useful to automatically hide duplicates, hide all songs for an artist, genre, or disc, or to hide an individual song. When songs are hidden, they will still be in your database, but will simply not be rendered as part of your song book. You can un-hide the songs just as easily as you hid them making this an extremely powerful feature.

Instructions

1.	You can show or hide an individual song by simply checking that song's Hide? check box in either Songs View or Disc View.

2.	You can show or hide songs in common groups by either right-clicking the song or referring to the button in the Show/Hide Songs group on the Song Book tab on the main ribbon menu (see above).

2.1.	Show All Songs - un-hides every song in your song book.

2.2.	Hide Duplicate Songs - hides all but one of each song where the artist and song title match EXACTLY. Both the artist, and the song title must match exactly for this process to detect it as a duplicate and then hide it.

2.3.	Show Duplicate Songs - reverse of the Hide Duplicate Songs feature.

2.4.	Show Songs on Disc - shows all songs on the current disc.

2.5.	Hide Songs on Disc - hides all songs on the current disc.

2.6.	Hide Songs for Artist - hides all songs by the artist of the currently selected song.

2.7.	Show Songs for Artist - shows all songs by the artist of the currently selected song.

2.8.	Hide Songs for Genre - hides all songs in the genre of the currently selected song.

2.9.	Show Songs for Genre - shows all songs in the genre of the currently selected song.

Notes

•	When you mouse over one of the buttons above, you will see a tool tip that clearly specifies witch group will be affected when you click the button. The status bar at the bottom of the main window will also reflect this information.

•	Tool tips are not available on the context (right-click) menus, but the status bar will still update as described in the above bullet.

•

Hiding all songs for an artist, genre, disc, etc only will NOT automatically hide future additions to these groups. For example, if you hide a disc and then later add another song to it, that song will not automatically by hidden. That being said, you can simply re-click the hide button to automatically hide that new song.
