You can change the genre for all songs on a disc or all songs by an artist with just a couple of mouse clicks.
Instructions

| • | On the Song Book tab (on the ribbon) you will find the Genre group. |
| • | To change the genre for all songs on a disc, simply select the new genre from the Change Genre for Disc to drop down. (Note: You can also access this drop down from the right-click menu). |
| • | To change the genre for all songs by an artist, first select the song in the grid with the artist that you wish to change, and then select the new genre for all songs by that artist from the Change Genre for Artist to drop down. (Note: You can also do this by right-clicking the song and then changing the Change Genre for Artist drop down on the context menu.) |
| • | IMPORTANT: If the genre you wish to change to is the same as what is already in the drop down, just click the drop-down and then press the Tab key on your keyboard to activate the change. |
Notes
| • | Most of the features on this topic are available from a context (right-click) menu to save time. |
| • | Changing the genre with the above method will OVERWRITE the genre for all affected songs without prompt. (Although the Cancel Changes feature will undo this). |
| • | You can edit the genres from which you can choose by clicking the Edit Genres button. |
| • | In the program options, you can edit the genres that will automatically be available when creating new song books. |
